Located just outside Nashville in Madison, TN, this kitchen remodel was a true labor of love for a newlywed couple in their first home together. The original kitchen was dated and cramped, with an awkward layout that made everyday life feel crowded. Using detailed floor plans and immersive 3D renderings, I presented a new solution—closing a doorway to the laundry room, which allowed us to relocate the refrigerator and open up space for the large peninsula island they’d been dreaming of. Once the design was approved, I accompanied them on a shopping trip to select the perfect tile, countertops, lighting, and cabinetry. The finished design blends his love of crisp white cabinetry with her preference for warm wood tones, balanced by timeless finishes and thoughtful functionality. The result is a modern farmhouse kitchen that feels fresh, inviting, and ready for years of family memories to come.
